Yes, what you see in the photos is a natural emerald, and it is what is known in the emerald-producing areas of Colombia as morralla.

The green zone corresponds to the emerald itself, the white is its natural calcite matrix, and the golden zone is a pyrite inclusion.

It was cut into an irregular cabochon by Oscar Bautista to preserve the originality of its colours as much as possible.

  • Carat Weight: 3.59 ct
  • Cut: Freeform Cabochon

  • Treatment: Colour and stability enhancement using artificial resin (PermaSafe type process)
  • Certification: Authenticity Guarantee (Natural gemstone verified by our specialists)

*Measurements may vary slightly depending on the caliper used

About this emerald:

This stone has a flat base, which facilitates its setting in a ring, bracelet, or pendant.

In addition to the diversity of its colours, its surface features slight fissures and cavities.

You should know that these are not accidents or mechanical damage, but characteristics that testify to its birth within the host rock.
