To create a pear cabochon with a flat base that could be used in a ring, pendant, or bracelet, evoking the green of the Colombian mountains.

About this emerald:

This gemstone is what is known as morralla in Colombia: a natural and opaque emerald that exhibits greenish and whitish tones. 

It also features typical golden pyrite inclusions and small surface cavities and fissures, which are witnesses to its origin within the host rock.
